Company History

Ostari was founded in 1981 to service GE / Calma mainframe graphic systems, specializing in the ECAD/MCAD vertical market servicing the Semiconductor and High-End Engineering clients.

In 1988, when SUN Microsystems engineering workstation / severs began replacing main frames, Ostari migrated with their client base, maintaining a strong presence in the ECAD / MCAD marketplace as a service and consulting organization.

In 1994 Ostari became an Authorized Hewlett-Packard Reseller as well as an Authorized Hewlett Packard service provider for hardware and software, receiving "Best in Class" awards from Hewlett-Packard.
